Position: Senior Oracle Developer/DBA 
Location: Phoenix, Az
Our Client is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer/DBA for a long term consulting position.
This is a technical role working in global environment. Selected candidate will have e close interaction with Engineering, DBA and SA as well as Application support personnel. The ideal candidate will have a pro-active approach to involvement and driving continual operational improvements.
Key responsibilities:
• Work with IT teams, management and/or developer to determine the need
• Mine data from primary and secondary sources
• Analyze and interpret results using standard statistical tools and techniques
• Pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in complicated data sets
• Identify new opportunities for process improvement
• Provide concise data reports and clear data visualizations for management
Experience / Skills Profile:
• 5+ years of data analytics work-related experience in financial area
• Strong in Data visualization and reporting techniques
• 5-8 years of experience in Unix Shell scripting and Perl scripting (Nice to have) 
• 2-3 years’ experience of Oracle database administration is MUST
• Strong in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL querying languages
• Working experience on reporting tools (eg, Crystal, MS Excel etc.)
• Working experience of Oracle Application Express (APEX) is preferable
• Good verbal and written communication
• Well organized individual with strong programming experience.
• Builds positive working relationships and works collaboratively with other team members
• Experience in a large corporate environment
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
